When Meghan Markle married Prince Harry, in May of 2018 I knew absolutely nothing about her. I did not watch television and was unaware of the television shows she was on. Women I knew continued to ask me what I thought of them as a couple and I still had no answer.

Then Meghan Markle seemed to be on every magazine and seemed to be topic of discussion in a variety of places. At one point I did look up the wedding on YouTube, but I don’t remember if it was live or not.

I thought that they made an attractive couple, and I thought Meghan Markle was quite pretty. I had no idea she was biracial until there was such a big deal made about it. I always liked Prince Harry as he seemed to be unlike the rest of the Royal Family. I think that was his appeal. I was surprised that he married an American, but he can marry who he wants.

A year to the month of their marriage the Royal couple welcomed their first child Archie. They seemed to have a fairytale life. Meghan Markle, a girl from California married a prince and became a princess and seemed to live happily ever after.

But the cracks in the facade were already being noticed. Meghan invited her mother to her wedding, the mother who did not raise her and did not invite her father who not only raised her but helped her secure internships with his entertainment industry connections. Her father helped her out financially many times but somehow Meghan wanted nothing to do with him and refused to visit him in the hospital when he was seriously ill.

That seems cruel.

But then Meghan and Harry sat down with Oprah (I will get to her in a future post) and insinuated that someone in the Royal Family made a racist remark about their baby. Oprah gasped the way that Oprah does.

Nothing was ever substantiated of course.

Things went downhill from there.

There was talk about Meghan’s behavior. She was accused of bullying staff members and not being able to keep staff because of unrealistic expectations. Meghan claimed to want privacy while simultaneously wanting to be a public figure and influencer.

Then she was caught saying things that just could not be true. She claimed prior to meeting Prince Harry that she had no idea who the Royal Family was. That was disproven when a picture of her surfaced of her and her family in front of the palace while on vacation when she was a teenager.

She also took full credit for writing to the corporate headquarters of Dawn dish detergent for sexist language in one of their television advertisements, but it turned out to be a class assignment when she attended elementary school.

Meghan also seemed to be obsessed about Royal titles that her and her children would have while doing everything she could to undermine and alienate Prince Harry’s family with false accusations of racism and other forms of unfavorable treatment. That endeared her to no one.

It was only after their fairytale wedding that I found out that she invited celebrities that she did not know personally like George Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham and Priyanka Chopra. Why would you invite people you didn’t know personally to such an important event. It just seems weird to me. Maybe her publicist put her up to it but still.

Then Meghan made the mistake of trying to usurp Princess Katherine. Then she seemed to undermine the rules and policies of the Royal family while out in public.

Eventually, Meghan and Harry were asked to leave Frogmore Cottage where they were residing. They were also asked to leave King Charles’ 70th birthday party.

They eventually moved to California. Meghan launched a podcast that was a complete failure as no one could relate to Meghan and her tales of woe.

Meghan and Harry lost their titles and private security and were annoyed that they had to pay for those things themselves which made both of them seem like ungrateful entitled shits.

Meghan failed to come across as a genuinely sympathetic figure. She strikes me as extremely narcissistic and controlling. When she couldn’t have everything, she wanted (even though she snagged a prince and literally became a princess) she wanted more as she is essentially an empty vessel who refuses to be happy no matter how blessed she is. Nothing is ever enough for this personality type.

The worst thing about Meghan Markle is that she fractured Harry’s relationship with his brother William and that is sad and breaks my heart. Meghan wanted to be Princess Diana’s replacement and that was never going to happen.

These types of women are the worst kind of social climbers. She literally got the man she wanted and then did everything to screw that up. She discarded anyone who got in her way or was no longer useful to her. I am going to guess a divorce is in the near future. I hope Harry rekindles his relationship with his brother and family.

I guess for females like Meghan Markle is to be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
