I agree this State is in trouble with the rampant violence, Jonathan Wohl shouldn't have been on the streets with 18 priors and 3 open cases. President Trump is doing what he said; sending illegals back. We all need to be careful in such uncertain times.
I was born in NYC in 1942 and grew up in Roslyn, Long Island. I served in the USAF from 1960-1964. I left for good in 1968 as it was already getting too crowded for me so we moved to Washington state. The rest of the family had to sell their property in 1972 because they could not afford the property taxes which were already too high. I have been back several times since and it only reinforces the reasons I left. The last time I was in NYC was when Guilianni was mayor and the streets were actually clean. So were the subways. From what I see of it NYC has deteriorated drastically. You couldn't pay me to live there now. We live in a nice forested 5 acre plot of land about 100 miles north of Seattle in a house on 5 forested acres that I paid $200k for. From what I see NYC has turned into a real toilet.
